Hello,
to make it short, i need a new Computer, and it should be a Desktop PC. I would build it myself - I need it for Audio and Video mastering, and Adobe InDesign/Photoshop, and, of course, SH5, RoF and general gaming ![]() It should have Win 7 pro 64 bit as OS, 8-16 Gb Ram, Front side bus at least 1333. I have a very good new 650 Watts easyrail power supply and an older GTX 280 video card, which must do for now. Both will go into the new PC. So apart from that, which processor and mainboard would you choose ? Thanks and greetings, Catfish |

Choose wisely because your new MoBo is going to have to accommodate your older hardware. Check and double check the specs.
With technology constantly on the march into the future, it's difficult to advise you on which items to buy that will mate up properly. When I build a desktop rig, I usually start from the case up.
