Default Aiming issues

I hope it's not a problem if I create new thread here

I have an issue with my aiming. Until now, I have been able to hit targets without any misses. But now, my torpedoes arrive a few meters ahead of the target. I am currently playing the Germany Blockade patrol. I am trying to hit an AMC, from 1300 meters (which is fairly easy). My AOB is a perfect 90 and the enemy ship is travelling at 14 knots.

I have reloaded the game over and over again and redone all the calculations and geometry on my map and the toprs still miss by a few meters, even though i have aimed at the middle of the ship. Basically, I have to let the whole ship pass the Y axis before I can shoot.

Does anyone have any idea what is happening? I remember reading in a mod's description that if you give the torpedo guy the ability to make torps faster, the TDC will act as if the torps have the base speed, but I only bought the perks to give them more damage and range. Could this be the issue? Or maybe it's something with this patrol?

I am going to do some further research myself, but if anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it. I'll try to attack other targets as well and try reloading a previous save, before I bough those damage and range perks and see what happens.
