Default SH5 Win 8.1 - 1-2 second freezing

Hi! Using Win 8.1 64bit the game sometimes freezes up to 1-2 seconds and then moves on. I noticed that the software does not load everything when I start but just in small particles after I am in the boat.
Can this be because of cache loading settings?

Are you running the 64 bit version? If you're running 32 bit I'd say it has to do with RAM not being high enough. With 32 bit you will only be able to run 3GBs that's useable out of 4 installed, which is the max.

I'm not running SH5 yet as I'm having a problem with 7zip. [Separate post on that issue] But the other games I have are running a lot better seeing I have 12GBs of DDR3 installed.

Yes, I use 64bit version.
But I noticed if I save and reload the game than the laggin is much less.
Maybe that is the solution.
