USS Stingray MOD question

Hello. I'm new to SH4, and was wondering how to get the uss stingray mod to work? I've updated to V 1.5 and have everything installed correctly I think. I get the "Down Periscope" intro and the Tomas Dodge as captain upon loading a new career but no option for a Balao class boat. Only Porpoise, Tambor or Garr, with stock skin and name. Nothing else works.

Maybe it's too early in the war for that type of submarine ?

How are you running the mod? What other mods do you have? What order? Do you have the mod folder doubled in JSGME?

We need more information.

This is the only mod I have. I'm running V1.5 U Boat Missions. As far as I know it's not doubled in Jsgme mod folder. I haven't gotten far along enough in the war to get a Balao and the Gato class is the most advanced sub I can choose later in the war when starting a career. The read me for the mod says that it will give you USS Stingray upon starting a career so I don't believe you have to wait until the game gives you one as far as I Know. I am running a Steam version though.
