Default Greetings from a Returning Sea Wolf.

Been a few years since participating. Was SH3 with many mods at the time. Now starting the experience over in SH4 with U-boat expansion. Looking forward to modding and getting back out to sea, asap!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all!

Welcome back. I came back about two months ago from a two year hiatus and it all comes back pretty quickly. The stock SH4 game is OK, but if you really want an immersive experience, check out the mods list. There's also a thread in this forum about what mods folks are running and it's worth a look.

Good hunting.

Yep, already looked into some of the mods and decided to go with TMO, RSRDC, Traveler Mods, Real Environment for a start. Hit my 1 download limit since I had not had a post in a while. Gotta wait until tomorrow now to download more from the mods section.

Thanks for the welcome!

Merry Christmas!

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Welcome back, always glad to have an experienced skipper.

For your special newby job, you need to teach Armistead to sing. He's hurting our ears.

Thanks for the warm welcome back. Unfortunately, I can't carry a note for a tune, either.

Just realized why I'm limited on downloads and made a contribution to this great site! It was very good back when I was active in 06, but even better now and definitely worth the donation to the cause!

Thanks again to my fellow sub skippers and kaleun.

Yeah, me too. Back after a long hiatus. Nice to be back in a claustrophobic underwater vessel. Simulated, that is.

I am also back after a long time ashore. I played SH3 for one winter during hibernation season and really enjoyed it and got quite immersed in it. Hibernation season is once again knocking on the door and happily, I have found SH4.

All the keystroke commands are coming back to me easily enough and I feel the lure of the deep calling me again.

So, this winter I have started a new career as a Pacific skipper brought on by a book titled "Ghosts of Bungo Suido" by T.T. Deutermann - it's a good read.

Happy I am to find this site again after so long and looking forward to modding up my boat and keeping the seas clear of America's enemies. So much enjoyment and so reasonable, (unlike the boat in my back yard), that has been keeping me busy and pretty much broke for the last few years.

I have the following mods enabled:
Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157
1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5
1_TMO_25_small_patch
RSRDC_TMO_V502
RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1
Traveller Mod v2.6 TMO
#1 Real Environment mod install
Traveller Mod 2.6 Patch 1 - ISE v3 Patch
#4 Warships retextured
Traveller Mod 2.6 No Midway Transfer
Traveller Mod 2.6 No DC Camera Shake
Traveller Mod 2.6 Larger Search Patterns
Traveller Mod 2.6 Harder Enemy AI Escorts
Traveller Mod 2.6 Automatic Ship ID
Traveller Alternate Main Loading Screens
Convoy Routes TMO+RSRD
tambor198's TMO+RSRDC missions pack

They seem to work ok on my Windows 7 laptop. Tried 1.5 Optical Targeting Correction but kept getting CTDs. Too bad, as I really liked it when/while it worked. If anyone knows any workarounds, would be appreciated.
