Default I'm Back Too

Just got my computer back up and running. Had to do a rebuild and reinstall of everything. Been a long road to get it all back together. Lost everything on the old one so SH3 and 5 have to be reinstalled also. Hope I can remember the process. I might be asking some for a couple of important files I'd sent them so I can get back up and running like before. See you all soon.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year if I'm not back before the holidays are over.

Vendor, take care and good to see you back too.

Neal, I should have something coming you way after the New Year.

Thanks Kaptains.

Having not gone thru SH5's Mod forum, I'm wondering how many new mods and improved mods I'll have to grab for a new install. I'm a scared, and hopefully haven't forgotten how. LOL

After reading the news that XP support will end April 8th, 20014 I'm now wondering if I should grab Windows 7 or 8... maybe even 8.1 asap. I know 8.1 is a free upgrade from 8, but how many will be free a 8 evolves. I have a few friends that hate 7 and a couple that like it... tho none are into gaming as we know it. I've also heard rumors that Windows 9 is in the works. I can't see spending the money only to have to get another OS. Money is real tight until spring. I've got to really sort out which OS to get. Any advice?

I doubt anyone is qualified to answer what OS to purchase seeing as nothing is set in concrete at this moment in time.

I left XP PRO a couple of years ago for W7 and as sure as God made little green apples, will move on when future events dictate.

Windows 7 is great, now that they've released 8.1 that is supposed to be better, if you've upgraded your PC then an upgrade to either would be advised.

On my birthday. That makes a perverse sort of sense. I'm still stuck with my soon-to-be-nine-year-old computer, which Has XP and IE8 and can't be upgraded. We'll see how it goes.

Welcome back GT182! I run Win 7, tried Win 8, hated it, and went back to Win 7. Win 8 is made more for touch screen monitors to take advantage of all its features. My biggest problem with it was its turning on my built in web cam on my laptop on boot up.
