Default Am I the only one who thinks this?

Here I am in late 43 with the USS Balao off bungo Strait. radar reports a pair of contacts. I track them and get into position on what turned out to be a escort CV. I fire a full salvo and head deep. Heres the thing after the order to dive I reached 150 ft in almost no time(must of been under 5 min). Seemed a bit too quick. Once submerged where fleet boats realy that nimble?

BTW I use the latest RFB.

Well, I'm sure it varied according to crew training and sea state, but the average dive time for a fleet boat in 1942 was 50 seconds. In 1945 it had fallen to 40 seconds. Once you are under you have gravity and momentum on your side. So it doesn't seem unreasonable to me to be at 150 feet in under five minutes.

Check your crew. It's also possible that one of them has a special ability that is helping speed up your dives.
