China 'flies first stealth drone'

Could it be the gap in technology is decreasing?

Sounds like China has been putting a lot of GDP(increased spending) into defense much like the United States back in the 1980's in order to counter the defense spending spike the USSR carried out in the 1970's.

China probably views actions of the US military over the past decade with concern not so much the enemy but the means of going to war and the "with us against us attitude". Which to some extent is a logical conclusion regardless of China's long term plans.
