Just getting back started.
Can anyone remind me how to get rid of the colored triangles when you pass the cross hairs over a target , also how do you lose the auto identification when you do the same? |

But a lot of nOObs do see those colors as actually being important.

Desirableroasted is right, the colour of the triangle only shows you the gyroangle. If you can't really live with it, you should switch manual targeting on thus auto identification will disappear, too. In case you don't want to target manually, you can still have Weapon Officer Assistance.

Sorry I was rushing things a bit, once I got into a campaign I set the realism and I no longer have to worry about triangles,
I thought I remembered that you could get rid of the "Destroyer" or "cargo" text when you move the cross hairs over targets but I may be mis-remembering. I guess SHIII is showing its age on these forums, a huge portion of the how to links are dead or buried under tons of acronyms for mods I am not familiar with. I think I have it back to something I am happy with now though. |

SH3 has had dead links almost since the beginning. It happens when people create mods and then move on to something else. We try to get them all into Subsim Downloads, but sometimes nobody seems to have them.
On the other hand the great beauty of this forum is the number of people who are willing to help. All you have to do is ask. ![]()
