Default Modding the Control Room

Hey all,

I've been playing this game off and on since 2007 and would love to mod the game where (and when) I can.

I've played around with the editor for SH4 and can decompile the 3d models so I can mod them. My question is, if I wanted to mod the control room a bit, do I need to decompile every object individually and import them individually into the scene to get the complete 3d model? or is there a way for me to export everything as one file into an .obj file so I can work directly from there?

I have a set of Gato line drawings which shows a radio room in the aft section of the control room. The Gato and Balao CRs ingame don't have this modeled. My plan is to lengthen the CR and add the radio room. I've never modded for this game and don't really know where to start.

There is no mass exporter for the 3D models that keeps the occlusion mapping, so yes you'd need to export each 3D model one at a time.
