I do do wonder how many forgeries are in the collection. Forging art was rife in the 20s and 30s.

Great news that lost painting have been 'rediscovered' but will any of this art be placed into museums so that the public can view it, or will it be sold off to rich collectors and lost again. Expect that it could be hard to prove ownership without receipts.

That's one of the interesting things. They are not planning to publish a list of what's in the collection leaving the onus on the families of the owners or the owners themselves if still alive to claim them. Possibly easier for those that were looted from museums or galleries, but much harder for private owners.
