No Speech Sound

I have installs of both SH3 vanilla and GWX. When I run the vanilla SH3 .exe all sounds are normal but when I run the GWX SH3 .exe all sounds are normal except there is no speech sound. I have a feeling it is something simple but after checking files and game settings I cannot find a solution. Any ideas?

Thanks for the link MLG. I am also using Avast so I will check to see if that is the problem.

You will find the file in your virus chest, just restore it from there.

I could not figure out how to access the virus chest file in Avast looks like it is hidden somewhere. In any event I solved the problem by copying the lipssynch.act file from my vanilla install to the GWX install (it somehow had been removed - Avast?) Everything back to normal. Thanks for the help.
