Would it be possible to edit for example five different versions of SH3 weather and then make SH3Commander randomize the version one's current patrol uses?
We could have a weather type that changes a little every 3 - 4 hours and on the other extreme a type of weather that stays more or less constant for a week. We could have area typical weather types and season typical weather types. Through JSGME one could then choose for example a typical Mediterranean summer weather and then get some randomization through SH3Cmdr. The way it is now, the weather is somewhat too predictable. With randomization it would be more difficult to decide whether to use one's valuable torpedoes in stormy weather or to wait for better weather. |

You sure can, just use the weatherfix by Stiebler and/or h.sie and create different files with different weather parameters. Add the corresponding folder to SH Commander, and it will randomly install one each time you start a patrol

Great, I'll think I have to experiment with this, have a career with the "random weather mod" on and see how it effects the gaming. I think a rudimentary version of this can be made in a few hours or even less - the time consuming part is the playing and experiencing whether this makes a difference to the game.
