The old black sky. Looks like a mod conflict. You didn't tell what mods you have loaded.

I remember suffering from a bug like that when I changed GWX 8 km atmosphere to 16 km atmosphere. The problem was that I had not rolled back SH3Commander.

Here is my active mods.

I don't remember well(due a long time no play) but it's possible that I removed the 16 km atmosphere before playing again.

I'll try in port and I'll let you know.

Thank you to the help, you're the bests.

Why not simply use the Save mod profile and Load mod profile functions of JSGME? Then you don't have to reload all your mods individually if you want to make a change that isn't at the top of the list. And the file JSGME Mod Profile.mep gives you a nice printable (and editable!) list of you active mods. Or you can use the Export activated mod list function, which will make you a text file or print the list? JSGME has a bunch of useful features under the Tools menu.

BTW, making changes to your activated mod list without rolling back SH3 Commander is an invitation to disaster. You can corrupt the mods you have installed and even the base SH3 (or GWX) files. And the only way to recover is sometimes a complete reinstall. This is a very dangerous mistake to make! (Don't ask me how I know....)

I've been a member of this forum for a couple of years now and I still regularly wonder how come this forum is almost always helpful and friendly as most of the other forums I've been to are not. This forum is a sort of virtual brotherhood - you can write what you want to say without much fear that someone takes it the wrong way. Newcomers are treated with respect, too.

You may try installing Thomsen's water again, it might work when installed again. If not, Mano's Environment Pro v4 or Rik's SH5 water for SH3 might do the trick.

I think the average age here is higher than most forums. We get some young'uns, but for the most part people here are at least in their late 20s, and quite a few are easily twice that. Also, sub sims are the kind of game that require some patience and thought. The average gamer doesn't want to spend hours just looking for something to stalk for several more hours, then do it all over again.

The third possibility is that while our General Topics forum can get pretty wild, for the most part we don't allow too much crap in the game forums. Someone proving himself to be a real troll will find himself taking a time-out in short order.

Some of us are 3x20 with a little change.
First person shooter game would give me a heart attack.

I think a first person shooter game that would simulate the actions of a sniper or a deer hunter would be just the thing for us "stalkers"
