Curious if its a mod or the stock spelling

I was scanning the map and noticed that Canada spelling is Kanada and there are some other odd names like Gronland for Greenland.I never noticed it before adding the mods so wondered if it is a mod or stock spelling and can they be changed easily.

I think they are spelled in german...
