Default CTD when i exit the game?

Hey Guys,

Seem to be having a little issue, i am getting a CTD (Desktop locks) every time i exit the game, i started to remove MODs and as soon as i removed the Das Boot sound mod the CTD have stopped.

Just wanted to know if any of you guys might know what the issue could be? or is there a problem with my MOD order?

Here is my Mod list....

GWX - VIIC41 Player Sub
GWX - Open Hatch Mod
FM_NewInterior_V1.0
FM_NewInterior_V1.0 - Blue Interior

German Images for Widescreen MaGui v3.4-SA
TorpedoSolutionButton for WideScreen MaGui v3.4-SA
optional-blue recmanual for Widescreen MaGui v3.4-SA

SH-5 Water for SH-3 20 Km V84
Wooden_Lifeboats_Mod_1.1
Lutzow's Officers - SET5

Are you uninstalling the mods as the game is exiting? If so, it might cause other problems doing it that way. Renable all your mods. Save your modlist profile with all mods enabled first.

That tells me the problems lies at Das Boot sound mod or the speech fix after it. Disable the Das Boot sound mod and the speech fix mod from JSGME. DELETE the Das Boot sound mod and the speech fix mod completely from your modlist of available mods, the (SilentHunter III\MODS folder).

From an archive, or being redownloaded, reinstall the Das Boot sound mod and the speech fix mod for available mods. Make them active again and see if no more CTDS happen.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply, no im not uninstalling mods as the games exits, I meant that after the CTD i started to remove Mods back at my desktop one by one then reload etc. i will try what you say and report back later.
Thanks

Uninstall all mods and start a new career, adding one mod at a time.

I know this can be time consuming but it is often the best way to work out which is the offending mod.

Look into DBSM's ...Sounds\Speech\1 to 9 and ...Sounds\Speech_En\1 to 9 for .ogg files in stereo - they could cause CTDs.
Convert them to mono and all should be fine.
