Default Starchair for the avid enthusiast

I recently bought a pair of image stabilized binoculars in an effort to get a better handle on finding astronomy targets before investing in a telescope. I stumbled on to this remarkable toy while checking out a astronomy site:

Wow!
I have a pair of handheld celestial binoculars, and although I know the stabilization issues/frustrations associated with them, I don't think I could ever justify this expense.

Let's couple one of those up with a flight sim. I wonder if they could add bank and roll to it?

I think they would have to do a pretty hefty upgrade to the electric motor before anything else. This thing is a tad on the slow side:



As it is, it's probably only good for simulating a B-17 or B-24 top turret.
