Snowden 'allowed to leave airport'

Snowden (his lawyer) says he will not leave the airport but I'm wondering if Russia are getting a little tired at the situation.

I believe the paperwork will grant him entry into Russian territory only on a temporary basis whilst his application for asylum is being considered.
