I recently installed a skin for the IXB boat and JSGME reported that Thumbs.db had already been changed by Q-ship mod and whether I wanted to proceed or not. I went ahead, then loaded SH3 and looked in the museum at both the IXB and Q-Ship and both look OK. However, just to be on the safe side, can someone shed some light on what this file does please?

Agreed, that bugga crops up in most of my pc files regardless of their content...trash it.
In fact I should apologise for having left it in the mod, I certainly wouldn't have had I not overlooked it. |

thumbs.db is a windows database in which the small ("thumbnail") preview pictures are stored. you can deactivate this in your windows explorer settings.
