TDW Destroyed marks

For some reason, the game is giving me 2 types of destroy marks, if I load an in progress game, I get the DM__ destroy marks with details on what was sunk, but ships sunk currently have just a ship sunk icon.

I have the new destroyed marks enabled in TDW patcher, and this is my mod list at the moment, which is somewhat small.
FX update 21
SH5 lifeboats
New Ui's 7_4_2
Open horizons full 2.2
Equipment upgrades 1.4
Equipment upgrades patch hotfix
Any ideas for how to only get one mark to show up? The DM__ mark would be preferred.
