Default Taking screenshots of loading screens?

Is it not possible to take screenies of loading screens ingame?

I have no issues in taking screens of other ingame moments, however when attempting to take screens of current ingame loading screens, it comes out as a black image.

Is there a workaround i'm not aware of?

Thanks in advance.

Long time since I've felt the need but iirc this should do it...it's the only one I had on the pooter at the time:

I'm using Howie's Quick Screen Capture. It's freeware and easy to use. As you can see it takes screen shots of loading screens.

Thanks gents.

@rowi58:

how did you edit the loading bar? The text?

Or did you just 'insert' text with a image editor, to load it up?

I've edited colours of loading bar, not the actual red bar that progresses though, since as i understand it, the loading bar is hard-coded.

Hi Feuer Frei,

that's very simple. I used "PhotoFiltre" which has an easy text option. Just type your text, select thw font and the size and move it into the empty loading bar field. The loading bar will cover the text when he reach it.

Greetings

Thanks a lot mate

Just on the Howies quick screen capture util which you provided the link to:
and please not i am certainly not accusing you of anything, far from it, but i just wanted to highlight the fact that upon running the installer file, it does not specify that your browser will change upon installing the util.
I had cancelled the install several times however found that strangely enough my browser had its homepage hijacked to the Qvo6.com website.

Now, i just wanted to warn folks of that and have also provided a fix for this, which can be found here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/viru...owser-hijacker

Just giving a heads-up.

Ich hoffe, es geht Dir auch gut!

Fraps would be the best with the option to take videos as well...
