Is it possible to change the skin of just the conning tower only? I want to give the Salmon late war conning tower an early war black skin and add it to the stock early war WEATHERED black hull. FooFighter's black skin for the late war Salmon is a CLEAN skin, and I cannot find a WEATHERED version.

Try file front here with skins:
http://silenthunter.filefront.com/ As far as changing just the conning tower that will have to be done with a edit program or a whole new bump mapping. Sorry but this is beyond my help level. Fithah4 |

Most Salmon/Sargo subs retained their Measure 9 all black skins until the start of 1944. A few went to one of the various gray measures after that, when it was found that the gray camo was harder to see at night. This is when the night surface attack became the choice attack method. Those that kept their all black skins even added mottled high gloss or gray spots or light gray horizontal stripes to blend in with the moon dappled water at night. I downloaded FooFighter's all black sub skin for the Late war Salmon, but I prefered the weathered look of the stock all black skin with it's rust spots, etc. That's why I was trying to change the skin of the external conning tower only.
