New guy to submarine sims here. I more or less discovered Silent Hunter as a kid a "long" time ago, but had given up on understanding it after a day of scratching my head, like most other sims I tried out then (and EAW ended up being the only one I really played).

More than 10 years later, I felt interested again, and after suffering through part of the DCS series I feel able to tackle anything. So here I am, on this board which seems mandatory to be part of as a sub sim player.
