Some cool pics therte. The Australian War Memorial in Canberra has a working stereoscope with a number of pictures similar to these. The 3D effect is quite realistic. Anyone remember the old ViewMaster toys of the 60's & 70's? Same technique.

Pretty startling effect.

Yes, I had a Viemaster in the '50s. I had a lot of discs, mostly Disney stuff.

Pretty cool photos. I had a Viewmaster in the 60s, though I can't remember what pictures I used to view with it.
