100% realism being played,no map up dates ,Sound man reports ;- Warship Long range Closing ,and the bearing, I plot the bearing on the map, mark on the bearing 3 nm and 15 nm (Long range = More than 3nm Less than 15 nm) I run my Cursor over the bearing or where I think the Warship is and I get sooner or later information on the map[ Warship 17 kn] . I mark the spot with the marker tool and wait a few minutes then find it again ,mark the spot . these 2 marks give me its heading . QUESTION , Whos giving me this Info ? I was able to sink this R class destroyer doing 17 kn . Thats bloody good for me ,I,m hopeless most of the time . The Soundmans Exp = Passive Abilities Darkness level 1. Hydrophone level 1. Is it the tooltip that appears bottom right of map? I hate it, and want to know how to disable it. You plot in full realism and if your accurate you will often mouse over where the contact is. I even use the patcher to disable contacts on map, which it does, but the tooltip remains.

I haven,t got a tool tip at the bottom right ,Jace,No mods are installed ,have a bit of trouble with JSGME not moving the files over,so it can,t be that . The heading was a great help for the AoB , would the Sound guy be able to know its speed ? When I put the attack scope up there were 4 destroyers 3 R class and one I could not recognise I actually sunk 2 but the 1st one was at a distance of about 1500 m doing 17 knots .Thats just under a Nautical mile. Gotta t be a lucky shot that !!! Usually I can,t hit a barn door with a beach ball. H
