I really wish the heavy seas in Silent Hunter 5 were like those
of really storm conditions in Deadliest Catch Alaskan Storm game. I have this game, the seas can be treacherous. Such a shame SH5 isn't like this, would make it really challenging to hunt in these seas. Here's a vid: Neon |

They can: we "just" need to find the right seaparameters settings, but they would be totally unrealistic for the maximum wind speed allowed in game (15 m/s). This is something that only TDW can hack and, as we are talking about it, we should also tweak ship and sub physics to allow them to ride those huge waves realistically. Hopefully feasible, but still a real PITA
