Question about hydro station (again!)

Hi all,

From long time, i don't have anymore "unknown" "merchant" "warship" appearing in hydro station book.
Just a little point (.) instead
This little point is desapearing when on contact, and appearing when nothing.
But no words anymore (don't even remember if i ever had them!)
I'm using REM mod, but without it's the same.

Is it normal, or something has been messed up?
If so, what could i do to get words back?

PS: oh, and game is of course patched with broken hydrophone fix, by TDW!

the point is normal with no contact, can you choose the ship when you click on the arrow on the right of the point ?

Check in your menu.txt in data\menu folder if the 820 to 825 are present.

and 826 to 829

826=Inconnu
827=Navire de guerre
828=Navire marchand
829=Sous-marin

I don't remeber why one is use by the hydrophone.

No, when i clic the arrow, nothing more.
But thanks, i'll check that menu text lines
The point is desappearing when on contact, so i guess words should take place as you said, but if no words in menu text...then nothing!

EDIT: I mean Real Navigation patch.. not mod..

Cool! That was it!
In fact, i remember i comented out those lines (820/25) with a ";" to do not see anymore the pop up window info when mousing over a boat...but didn't realised it hides the hydro book info text too!

You can comment out lines 820-822 then enable real navigation patch (not mod) and you will see these lines (826-828) in the hydro box only..
