sh3 new missions for my son

So I found this site trying to find new missions to download for sh3 for my 7 year old son who has been playing sh3 since Christmas and is excellent at it. Any other sources to get single payer missions for him? He is also interested in learning how to play a mission with the Queen Mary in it for sh3?? Any help there

Can't help with the Queen Mary....interesting to see that a seven year old likes playing SH3...watch out he may grow up to be a submariner like I did

One of my .mis files adds the Queen Mary to the campaign but I haven't seen a single mission with her in it.

Yes he is a very interesting kid, He is into roller coaster tycoon and farming simulator. Also steam trains and steam engines. We downloaded one yesterday and 4 others by accident and we tried again today and it still says we hit our daily limit

thanks I'm going to download it now. Campaign is fine too he just wants the Queen Mary in a mission, He has been watching videos on Youtube of SH5 I think.

Play around with the mission editor and create one. Once you get used to the editor, it is really not that difficult to make one.

OK I am going to mess around with it although it seems very confusing now I'm sure I can get the hang of it. The only mission editor I've used is a easy one for Ship Simulator 2008 which is another sim he loves to play but sh3 has taken over all of that

Thanks to WB I was able to download the single mission he was so generous to make us. I had some trouble with it and the only part I'm lost with is this part-->

just add PPQ=RMS Queen Mary to your EnglishNames.cfg file (default location is C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Sea\EnglishName s.cfg)

I'm not sure how to do that. When i went to the Sea folder and found the EnglishNames.cfg file it is not able to be opened unless I'm using the wrong program..

What I did do was take the extracted folder and placed it in the Mods folder then opened JSGME and enabled it. Now I goto single mission's and there is WBs Sink the Queen Mary mission and it opens and loads just fine. I was following directions and heading directly west of the starting location but was not able to find her yet... Maybe I have not traveled far enough or to the right grid but I'm sure my boy will find it easier.

There is a "Sydney Harbor 1941" single player mission in the download section. I played it today, consists of trying to sneak inside a harbor and take out a son of a big ship, then trying to sneak away... I did enjoy that, it isnt that long, but teaches you quite a bit of patience. I think it works without GWX, but you might want to check that.

Try opening it with Notepad - should work!

WB- Ok first off thank you so very much for your time and kindness. I just picked my son up and brought his laptop with me. He spent the last 15 minutes going west and spotted the smoke from the Queen Mary! Even though I couldnt find her last week he did on his first shot. He is engaging her as I type this message. He is beside himself you surely made his week.
