No Silent Running

Running RFB+RSRD and can't get the ship to rig for silent running. Shows the command acknowledged in the text box, but no icon and not actually switching over.

Any clues?

Apologies if this question is overly obvious, but you are submerged, right?

Yes, it won't work at any level, periscope or 200+. And in RFB the button is greyed out if you are on the surface.

Have you been alt/tabbing in and out of game. If I do this I get the same bug about 50% of the time. If so, save and reload to correct it.

Seems to stop it, I would dive and engage silent running before I tab out of the game.

Yep, that's likely the cause. I reloaded and sure enough it worked. Glad that's all it was.

Didn't fix 3 duds and a premature magnetic though...

If I do this I get the same bug about 50% of the time. If so, save and reload to correct it.
