Default Docking Issues

When trying to return from patrol to the indicated port in Open Horizons 2 the game crashes when within a few kilometers of the coast. Have tried to dock several times from saved game but CTD at same point on map each time? Any help appreciated folks!

The first occasion I was using 512 TC, then I tried approaching at normal speed with the same result. Port is Wilhelmshaven & I am using MGui interface with minefield map mod and Open Horizons v2.....

It seems any TC over 256 will cause a crash when returning to your home port. It's done it to me consistantly. I've learned now to do a save while out in the North Sea but not too far out. Say within a couple of hours away from any port you're assigned to.

I believe this is caused by lower CPU power and not having enough RAM to handle all that's going in in-game. With my XP Home OS 32bit, a 2.81 CPU, and seeing I can only use just under 3GBs of DDR3 RAM, this seems to be my bottleneck and causing the crash.

If you don't go over 256 while you return to port I've seen no crash and you can dock with no problems. Good luck.

If that does not work go back to an earlier save and/or delay your return to port for another day or so
