Default Arma 3 Alpha and developments

after much time without much info and the bad adventure of the greek devs arrested in greek, there is some new action going on.

First thing i have to note is that they ll go to the Steam Platform ( personally i would have liked an option without steam, or other programms ) and lastly that today they will release the alpha which you may get access too by invites ( if interested i can send some invitations possibly) and even preorder the game ( digitally for now) very cheap at this stage ( 25 euros for the alpha, beta and eentual game release+ 2 editions with extras, the most expensive costing 69 €).
some links :
http://www.bistudio.com/english/comp...steam-dev-blog Steam
are you ready for Arma?

( hope the links show up well, if not if a mod can modify / correct it)

They did say a couple of weeks ago that if it were not for a Steam release it would not be out in 2013.

Thanks for the links.

Could I please have an invite? Would be much appreciated! Been looking forward to ARMA III for years

Certainly was a shame about the whole Greece fiasco. Waste of time and money, they were obviously innocent.

Only problem is I am not sure how well my computer will run it. I had Arma II on my computer for a short while thanks to one of my buddies and I thought I could barely run it (Turns out I was in power save mode) in full on entertainment mode, I could chug the game out pretty fairly it seemed.

My laptop has Intel i7 3610QM @ 2.3 Ghz
nVidia GTX 660M 2GB
and 16GB 1600mhz RAM

along with a 7200 RPM HDD (I want to change it out with a SSD but there is only one slot so I have to wait until I can afford a large enough SSD)

So yeah. Let me know what you guys get performance wise because I am curious as to what kind of hit I will take.

Default 10x Arma 3 lite keys

Hello,

im not a regular visitor here, (i supply wolfys ftpspace) but a good friend of mine, Jerry Hopper asked me if i could nose around if there is any interest in 'Arma3 Alpha lite' keys here.

As soon as i saw this thread, i had to ask.

Is there any interest in a ArmA3 Lite key?
Here are 10 keys, on a first come first get basis.

39V0G-P6CRJ-WMJL5
5BDTI-6VMQP-HQM46
N0KV8-TNDAH-VXNGX
686JG-JNJY3-CH69A
LVPY2-9XIRQ-HZGRV
K7PLQ-DZCBX-XZLXQ
7KKK9-ZEJDA-0558L
E8R95-V0E2M-Q40HT
45RYW-0KTBZ-IVMMF
X56FI-V0C48-53PND

be so kind to post which key you activated.
if there is a larger demand, i can provide more (but then it would be nice to have a moderator step up and distribute the keys which i would supply him )

No actually I did not try.I just thought it looked a bit suspect.Every now and then someone comes along and fishes a scam or really does try to pirate something. If I feel compelled I will get the full Alpha from Steam.

Your posting method just seemed a little unprofessional. I don't use Twitter and the guy does not look like he actually works for Bohemia Interactive either. If something came straight from Bohemia Interactive I would feel that it really and truly is legit.Don't take it personally I do not trust anyone.

According to the official web page anyone who purchased the full alpha can invite one friend and a person who purchased the Supporter Edition get 3 invites.
