Time for promotions, again...

So I just got back from my 10th patrol with U-50, and it was a pretty successful patrol. I ran out of eels & shells long before I was ready to return.

So this is what I managed to haul.

My question of the day, is... How do you guys/gals decide on promotions & medals? I only have two promotions to give, but a ton of eligible crew.

On a side note, I started this career back in 06, but had to loan my gaming rig out, so I backed everything up. Got my rig back a couple of months ago, and restored my SHIII files. Picked up right where I left off, in mid-patrol. Gotta love backups!

SH3 Commander lets you give all the promotions, medals and badges you want, any time you want.

If you're not using it you're missing out on the best part of the game.

I've been meaning to give that a try, I'm still pretty vanilla, I think i have like two mods from 06. Darn I i can remember what they are called.

Anywho, just downloaded/installed it. My existing career doesn't show up though.

Skimmed thru the user guide, but didn't see anything that mentions my career not showing up. I know it's something i'm doing wrong, just need to troubleshoot it a bit more.

Past my bed time, so I'll take another look at it later.

Did you set the path to the game in the options?

A good nap always clears things up. The reason my career didn't show up, is because it is on the gaming rig.

Guess i was too tired to realize that one small detail.

It is working fine on this laptop.

I will install it on the gaming rig tomorrow to use with my "real" career.

I feel like such an idiot.
