Newbie advice wanted
Hey guys!
Im new to the silent hunter series and Im wondering which of the silent hunter 3,4 or 5 you would recommend for someone who is new to the series? Which is easiest? Which is best? I heard that silent hunter v has good graphics and campaign but a lot of bugs? Has this been fixed with patches? Thanks |

I would say SH5, it got great graphics and some great mods out there.

They are all different, they are all so cheap now you may as well buy all three and flog the ones you don't like.
They are all infinitely better with mods. Buy them (and anything else) through the Subsim Amazon link and this site gets a percentage of what you buy at no extra cost to you.

IMO SH3 is easier to mod than SH5. All 3 as said are different, and IMO each has their good and bad points. After playing all 3 I'm hooked on SH5. But that just my 2 cents.
With that said, buy the DVD of SH5 from Amazon.com. The sale will help support SubSim too. And welcome aboard Mrhanks.
