Harwich Mod Crash?

docked at Harwich (pre-war), exited game and installed new mods via JSGME.
uboat ended up on its side on a flooded plane surrounded by dock side buildings?

can you only install mods in German bases?

What new mods did you install? It could be that one of them changed the terrain.

On the other hand since you didn't dock at your base you didn't actually end the patrol, which might have made a difference.

As a general rule of thumb only sound files are usually safe to enable whilst not back at base/mid patrol.

Best practice is wait until docked in your home port.

Yeah i learned that one the hard way with Thomsens sound mod loading it at sea, it got all screwy, but jims right at home/base best time to impose sound or any mod for that matter.

thanks jim.

since then i went back and deleted all saved games associated with Harwich. seems to be back on track now......
