When my old version of SH3 would not work with Windows 7, I studied this thread: "How to play Silent Hunter III without the DVD in the DVD Drive (Starforce free)" I purchased the recommended gold edition from Amazon, but could not update it with the latest patch. "Unrecognized version' error. Any advice appreciated, Hans __________________ ~ hans
