It have been on the danish news all day long. And every politician that have a FB-account have postet on their wall, how awful this is.

Later Lars Hedegard came with this statement

"This is not something that came out of the thin air. The way most of our parties have led this country, will make the situation ultimately untenable for Denmark."

After all, he has been fined by a Danish court because he said that in Islam women are second grade humans only and that before the court their testimony only is of lesser value and that they often fall victim to family rape by male clan members (an the attackers not beign charged).

Meanwhile, in saudi arabia a cleric has launched a debate about the veil for two year old girls. Because he wants to protect them form horny males. Strange males, these Arab males, if they desire 2 year old girls for bed company, and cannot control their perverted sexual drives like it is demanded from any male by Western laws.

And while we have in Germany a big debate about a "sexist"politician who complimented a female journalist about how well she would fill a Dirndl, and America sees the replacement of sexually discriminating terms like "fireman" and "freshman" with "firefighter" and "first-year-student", and Britain saw the replacement of chauvinist "serviceman" with "serviceperson" and "craftsman" with "craftsperson", and while Germans are obsessed with politically correctly talking about "Bürgerinnen und Bürger" and "Wählerinnen und Wähler" und "Steuerzahlerinnen und Steuerzahler" and the EU is pushing for stopping the diswcm rination of women by calling them mothers and ionstead wants people to talk about parent one and parents two, and gender-engineers deny differences between boys and girls and men and women and try to erase the obvious evidences shpowing their hilarious claim to be wrong - girls get imported by the thousands per year from Turkey to Germany to get forced into enforced marriages, and we do not adress this kind of sexism; and ever year many women and girls flee from their Muslim families that enrich our culture so much becasue they want to live by equal rights and in freedom and get threatened by their fathers, husbands and brothers, and we do not dare to touch upon this; and Arab and Turkish attackers and violent criminals attacking people in the streets and spilling anti-Christian and anti-Jewish hate speech, get hidden in media from identifying them as "persons" only, without further notice of their Muslim background: because we all know by now that Islam never has anything to do with it; and when a wife gets beaten to death by her husband and a girl gets stabbed by her brother, our courts mention the precious respectability of a foreign Culture and we allow that parallel underground justice tries to hide crimes like these becoming known to law enforcement, and helps to establish a culture of silence, like people in Siciliy remain silent about the Mafia. And we allow all this - but sentence a mediocre cartoonist to pay a fine because she dares to loose a word about it.

I am sure that there are many people who in the silence of their cabin wish that already the first hit attempt against Heedegard would have been successful, so that no second killing attempt would have been necessary that now draws again unwanted attention to some things going terribly wrong within our societies - with almost all of us tolerating it, not daring to speaking out against it, and being threatened by the full force of our new laws if we dare to disagree with the opinion consensus that is being enforced upon us and which to question is labelled a treason that justifies to demonise him, questioning his mental sanity and health, and putting him on one level with racists, nazis and holocaust denial.

I think you have misunderstod what I wrote or it may have been my english gramma that could make it look like that. He was fined in court that's correct, but if you had known a little more about that, you would have also known that he was not guilty in high court

No doubt about that, those people have nothing to do in western democracy to do. They should move to North Korea.

The case was thrown out on appeal as he said in his defence that by muslims he didn't actually mean muslims, plus what he had said wasn't supposed to be shared in public.

Read up on the case again, you're either missing or leaving out details.

The Frederiksburg District Court found him guilty on racism in January 2011, but did not sentence him because the judge said he did not know that his comments made in a private setting would be published in another person's blog.

In May the same year he was fined 5000 krona by Eastern High Court that overturned the earlier decision, for racist comments.

This is the info on him as far as I know it.

The only detail I have momentarily mistaken is that this Lars Hedegaard and the cartoonist by the Jllstad Posten - who also got attacked in past years - have been taken for one and the same person by me, but in fact are two. Mistaking people for somebody else can happen if you are not familiar with the sound of names in another language you are not so familiar with. And Danish I do not understand, except "tak".
