Default Is there any way to widescreen?

I've scoured the internet for solutions for this issue, I have turned up 0 helpful hits as the only way I've seen to do 1920x1080 is to stretch the image- I would really like to play GWX in 1080...

perhaps I am not understanding the problem - I have a wide screen monitor and the recommended resolution is 1680 x1050, will that not do for you?

I recall that when I changed to Windows 7 64 bit I could not see anything but a black screen even though the game audibly loaded. Turned out I had to change the resolutions in the config text ( forget the details) and then it all came good. That is not what you are talking about though, I suspect..

apologies if I am missing the point

Try the MaGUI 3.4 Widescreen UI mod, and set the config for the d3dx in the desired resolution. The needed d3dx.dll is included in the mod.

Also you have the GWX classic widescreen UI, or the Kegety patch for Widescreen (only the d3dx and config files).

Regards.
