Ever wish that you could do whatever in a patrol with no clear direct orders? well what about a mod where your only orders are to sink ships you don't have to patrol any particular area? not saying you cant do that now but those patrol XXYY for 24 hours is a pain and almost makes you feel compelled to at least patrol the are for 24 hours. My only thing is can a mod be made so you could do whatever you felt like maybe just a "null" for the start patrol loading screen would work.

It is done in GWX.
There is no renown reward for reaching and patroling your grid. In fact you can ignore it and do whatever you want. |

I'm just the opposite. I keep in mind the real orders, and I stay in my assigned grid for at least two weeks, using a die roll to determine if I've recieved "orders" to move to a new grid.

just thinking outloud but what if I deleted all the grid coords from the flotilla.cfg would the game still run?

Deleting them might not work but, replacing them with null might. Back up the original first just in case.
