Yankee ingenuity at its finest. Of course he wasn't too bright about the actual execution of the scheme, or it would have been harder for them to catch him. On the other hand what's the point of having a good job if you don't want to do it?

I want to outsource my job to China, but I fear there will be a language barrier. I can't even understand what passes for language from most of my customers.

So if a corporation outsources its jobs to china it's a brilliant cost saving measure. But if an employee outsources his job to china that employee is vilified?

Can't say he's lazy if he was well versed in several programming languages.
