Default Just getting started...again

Hey guys, diving into SH and getting 3, 4 and 5 all modded up and patched. I have Windows 7 x64 with a widescreen monitor (1920x1200). I have the steam versions of 3 and 4, and DVD version of 5.

Planning on installing GWX for 3. Anything else I need to know before I dig into these sims?

Thanks guys!

Rob

One more thing. Any aspect ratio fixes for GWX?

I read somewhere around here that SH5 would be best installed outside your normal program files folder, although i do admit I cannot for the life of me remember where i found this so im not positive on it. Also, search around for the .exe patch for the game; from what i understand it fixes some bugs and issues with the game. Should be somewhere in the SH5 sections.

EDIT: Found where i read it, 3rd thing down:

I'm no expert, but a friend of mine who runs programs for a living tells me that Windows 7 in general doesn't like the user fiddling with Program Files at all.

SH3 and 4 are from steam, but they both work fine. SH5 was installed in my C:\Games folder, so I should be good.

Thanks for the help.
