Anyone know how to change and restore windows 8 colour schemes? A relative recently got a new laptop with windows 8 and was asking about it.

Specifically, how can you change the colour on scroll bars within apps? On some web pages they are impossible to see.

On the metro start screen:
charms bar -> settings -> change pc settings (bottom right) -> personalize -> start screen You can change the color scheme there I'm not too sure about changing the scroll bar's color, never changed it on any version of windows before personally. I'll try to look into that for you PS: you ever tried high contrast mode? very easy on the eyes, and in my opinion, if your device is black, black on black on black actually looks very good. PPS: Its been a long time personally since I actually clicked on the scroll bar. I have always used the scroll wheel on a mouse, one finger on a touch screen, and on a touch pad, try two finger scrolling. I find it works better than to rely on a scroll bar (and this pretty much applies for any version of windows or Linux distro in my opinion) |
