Annoying navigator jerks you back to a map when returning to course

Whenever I command my navigator to return to the previously-plotted course, he additionally yanks me from wherever I am back to the nav map. Is there a way to disable this from occurring?

Not that I've ever heard of. It's something I've learned to live with over the last eight years.

Work around. Go to nav map first then click return to course.

its just one of those things you learn to work around. frankly i spend most of my time in the NAV map anyways.

Yes, it won't solve the problem, but at least you will feel a little better.
