New submarine command offer issue

Hi all,

I like to start my career at the Asiatic fleet with a low profile submarine. I have played some starting with an s-boat, but as it is so slow and old i now usually start with a purpoise class. After 3 good patrols i usually am offered a new command, but it is always a gato class which makes me have to change to pearl Harbor. The problem is that i want to keep based in fremantle for a little while now that the japanesse are starting the flow of oil and other materials from borneo, java, sumatra and malaya. The problem is that since i am not offered a lower class submarine than a gato, i cannot stay in the asisatic fleet any longer. My question is there a way that despite performing well you can choose to get a better sub class that still operates in fremantle, for example, a salmon/sargo class, or a tambor/gar class, so that i have not to change to the pacific fleet. The last time i turned it down the offer but i do not know if they will offer me a higher class.

Also, something that is unrealistic to me is that in my last career i last 8 patrols until mid 1943 from the outbreak of the war, and i got 4 medals of honor for 4 of the 8 patrols which is completly unrealistic. It seems that the only other award you are given is the bronze medal, but never seen a silver medal or a navy cross.

I am running RFB/RSRD plus some minor mods. And one last question, now that i am in with them, is there any mod similar to SAP 0.5 (ship physics acceleraion) for TMO that reduces the evassion acceleration warships can perform when they see you torpedos going towards them?
