I don't mind a Whopper now and then but in my opinion the best fast food style burger is What-A-Burger they make theirs right when you order it so it has not been sitting around under those heat lamps.I like to know that what i order is being made as I stand waiting.

We have a local chain here in Salt Lake City called Crown Burger. A little on the expensive side, but well worth the money.

The original disappeared one day, and six months later reopened a block away. The founder apologized, and said that the new office building owner wanted to put a parking lot where the restaurant was. He said the money offered was so good that he not only built four new Crown Burgers, but managed to put his cousins in business as well, so now we also have Apollo Burger, Astro Burger and Burger Palace, all with the same good food.

There`s a place here in Norway that`s called Fjordbua. Holy **** they make the best burgers you`ve ever eaten. There`s another restaurant called Vikingen Pub, theirs are not quite as good as Fjordbuas´s. But they are both delicious as hell.

Actually the best burgers I've ever eaten were home-grilled by my late father-in-law, back in the '70s.

But I just had a cheeseburger of my own making, so I'm not complaining at all.

Yep, best ones are made at home. I grind up about 10% steak into my burgers, taste so much better.

You can "have it your way at burger king"!
If you enjoy dirty looks from the workers that can't run the register that is.

In-N-Out - Best. Hands down.

Culver's - Second best. That's some mighty fine eatin'

Five Guys - Pretty good. Not great, but pretty darn good.

Wendys - Not as good as they used to be, but still good.

McDonalds - blecch

Burger King - blecch

Jack in the Box - blecch

Whataburger - Worst. Paper thin tasteless patty, bun slapped on the griddle and squished flat as a pancake. I have no idea why it has the following it has down here.

It must be the WhataBurgers in Texas the ones I go to in FL and AL are really good trust me I am very very picky when it comes to food.Of course there are a lot more in Texas where as in other states there are far fewer with more competing in the fast food market being number 1 can make you bad just look at McDonald's

I would say that Hardees/Carl Jr. are the worst by far.

By the way once as an experiment I took a Whopper I had from the BK on base at Ramstein AB and placed it on top of a storage container in a hanger used to store aircraft jack stands among other things I choose this location because I knew that nothing would disturb my Whopper I left it out in the open upwrapped.I would check on it every so often and besides becoming a bit hard and shrinking a slight bit it never disintegrated or got moldy must have been the preservatives.Of course this hanger did have a lot of hydraulic fluid that seeped from the equipment so that may have been a factor.Anyway as far as I know that Whopper is still there makes me wonder how long a Whopper stays inside ones digestive system I am leaning towards 75 years.
