I just stumbled across the following info which could be of serious interest to any WinXP users in regard to the memory allocation switch:
Service Pack 3 is required to utilise it, and that IF YOU USE AN AMD PROCESSOR IT MAY CAUSE YOUR SYSTEM TO FAIL TO BOOT UNLESS A HOTFIX IS INSTALLED FIRST See http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows...x0000007E.html for details. cheers, ed
