Hi,
I've been trying to install the LWAMI mod with no success. I go through by: 1. uzipping the files to my DW directory. 2. Go to the MODS folder and click INSTALL STUFF 3. Enable through JSGME 4. Start up game, but some of the subs and surface ships are invisible. 5. The only mod I have installed is LWAMI mod....and the FFG SPLASH. But still no success. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 and a Radeon 4550hd card. What could be the issue? Thanx for your help. |

OK. It turns out that it was due to my Windows UAC setting. I turned it off to enable the InstallStuff bat file to work.
I have the subs now. It only allows me no more than 1024 resolution. Can we make it higher. I usually don't go any higher than 1280, because of being legally blind. |

A tip that solves many UAC problems when modding: Make sure games are not installed into the Program Files folder, but specify a custom folder on your harddrive during install.

Very helpful advice. Thanx. I used to install all my games into a "Games" folder. But I've since gotten lazy.
