Default Another plot to kill at a movie

A copycat plot to kill people at a theater was stopped ahead of time, thankfully! This time it would have been at the "Twilight" opening.

Man, where do these guys come from?

This part worries me. Kudos to momma for calling police!

Good on mom for having a clue. Seems Jr. had no qualms with hurting people as demonstrated in 2009 following a Walmart employee so he my harm that individual. Mom had every right to be concerned when her son rolled armed to the teeth.

Yeah, I am real sure this guy actually purchased two Assault Rifles.

Good on the mom though for phoning it in. That much not have been easy.

I am sure that in a lot of these cases, there was someone who knew something but thought "but he/she will never actually do anything". Well sometimes they do.

I wonder what permit they are referring to?I do not believe MO has any License of ownership requirements. MO does require a concealed carry permit, but I don't think that was what this guy was going for.

I think it was a typo.In Florida you must be 21 years old to get a conceal carry permit or to purchase any handgun. You must be 18 years old to buy any rifle or shotgun.I assume that most states have similar age requirements.

I guess he was never confirmed to have a psychological illness even though he had been observed for 96 hours in 2009.Of course it says that he was "off his medication" if one needs medication to behave in a normal manner I think that this should block them from gun ownership apparently it does not.

A school friend of mine once was prescribed pain medication and a muscle relaxer for back pain.Well the two did not mix very well and he got a little zapped out from the meds and he told his wife that he was not feeling well that something was wrong from the medication. His wife went to look at the scrip bottles and in the mean time the drugs made my friend feel very paranoid and he felt like running and hiding so he went and snuck out of the house while his wife was in another room.

After searching for him she called the police and they found him sleeping in the woods. For that alone the police took all of his firearms and they also had him placed in observation I guess to be sure that he was not nuts.Of course nothing was wrong with him and they let him go but he had to see a state appointed psychologist twice before he was given his firearms back. And he did nothing violent at all he just got a bit high thanks to the mistake of the pharmacy.Pretty stern considering he did nothing violent and made no threats and actually went away from his guns. This was in Maryland.
