Default It's my own fault...too many sims...too little...time.

Funny how this all started with DW and then I got SHIV. But although I really like them both, lately I'm really enamored with the modern sim DW. I had no idea I'd have so much fun with the helos or the P3 let alone the subs.

I wish I had enough time to do it all. Oh well. I'll be back. Just gotta work all that in with DW and DCS A-10( a beast to learn). It's too much right now since I have of course real life as well.

Any suggestions for how you guys balance all your simming?

I quit my job, divorced my wife, and took my laptop up into the hills where no-one could find ....
Dang, I'm having weird thoughts today!

I tend to swing back and forth between sims. Play one until I get burned out on it, and then play something else.

To be honest. That's likely what I'll have to do. I don't think I'll have the time to switch back and forth. So I may do just 1-2 of these until I get burnt out. I've got more than I mentioned obviously including flight sims, racing sims, and tank sims. Oh well. It's a nice problem to have.

That's what I do. Works fine.

Except when I played Il-2 and Fs2004 all summer and forgot about SH3.

Yeah, I have the same problem, majorly. In fact I struggle to dedicate to a particular sim these days; so many options and so many great mods! I find myself constantly chopping and changing, I haven't pursued a 'career' in a year or so!

This may sound weird, but your comments actually help me feel better. Hehehe...I keep spending money on this stuff over the years dating back to 91 with Falcon3.0. So I feel weird when I dump one and play another without getting all I can out of it. In particular SHIV, I'm a newbie, but suddenly DW caught my eye.

Perhaps we need a support group.

Ha ha, yeah, love it. It could be like AA. S(ubs)immers Anonymous:

Hi, my name is troopie. Today I played SH3 and IL2. It has been 3 weeks since I installed my last sim.

I know how you all feel. I only work part time, 2-3 days a week yet I never seem to have the time for [I hate the word playing thats what my wife calls it] enjoying sims on my PC. For instance at this moment I have recently installed the U- boat addon and now am in the process of evaluating TMO by sailing a complete career, having already completed RFB, after which I have promsed sidslotm to test the latest version of WDAD, after which I want to finally look at operation monson. Meanwhile the PC is going in for it's annual check up on 19/11/12 so I won't be able ton do anything for most of next week! G5.

I just can't stay away from SHIV. Too addictive. I've been playing this game since the ZX spectrum in the 80's.
I still remember the happiness I felt when I played Silent Hunter 1 demo on the PC. Hope they make more US fleet pacific campaigns.

There's a P-3 game? (I'm no help ... I'm just as bad.)
