Default Norwegian coal tender in East coast of England

Now this was a first.
AN52.
Sonarman reports a contact. We plan interception course. I position my boat to periscope dept. Periscope up. Waiting. Bummer. A coal tender. No problem. Not the first time. But... wait... What kind of flag is this? Norwegian? Here?

Pretty impressive. The coal tender's captain intends to cross the North Sea to Bergen... with a coal tender... Kon Tiki style...

Norwegians are nuts

A little off topic , but what are the chances to find a RAF Hurricane attacking you in US East coast on October 1942?

Small I would guess unless you're too close to Newfoundland. If I remember correctly there are a few airports close to Halifax
