SH III Commander assistance?

I'm trying to use SH3 Commander, but I'm having a small issue...

When I save my game to stop playing, I always have to exit back to the main menu, and the only way I seem to see to do that is to 'exit patrol' or 'save and exit'

Both options then bring me to the mission ended screen.

Usually I end my game that way, then reload my last manual save the next time I want to play.

Unfortunately, the game does an autosave at this point.

The problem is that commander only seems to recognize the autosave file titled 'in base before mission'. When I try to change it (by clicking on it) it has a 2nd option which is something to the effect of 'in different base before mission'.

Either way, I'm unable to get SH3Commander to use my manual savegame to start. It just chooses the most recent save, which is done automatically by the game, and is never the patrol that I'm actually working on.

Hope this problem makes sense....kinda hard to explain. Hopefully someone will have a tip for me.

Your explanation does make sense, at least to me (assuming that I got it right

). I've never experienced that problem. Check Commander to make sure you have 'Automatic Rollback' enabled. That may or may not be the problem, but it's good to have it turned on unless you're a serious modder.
